Why should
I use trusses instead of conventional framing methods?
There are many advantages to using trusses over
conventional framing methods. One advantage is cost. With conventional
framing methods, the lumber cost of roofing and flooring structures
can add substantial lumber costs to your project. It also produces
more scrap lumber, which adds disposal costs. The second advantage
is time. Under most cases, trusses are delivered to your job site
ready to be put in place. There is no measureing or cutting that
needs to be done before the trusses can be erected. With conventional
framing, every piece of lumber that builds the roofing structure
needs to be measured, cut, and nailed. A third advantage is uniformity.
Each truss that is manufactured is identical to all others for your
project. This creates a seamless flow for your project.

How soon after
delivery should trusses be erected?
Trusses should be erected as soon as possible
after delivery to the job site.

What's the proper
storage for trusses after they have been delivered?
Trusses should be stored horizontally on
a flat surface after delivery. Do not store trusses on rough terrain
or uneven surfaces, as this could cause damage to the truss. Also,
banding should not be broken until you are ready to install the
trusses. If you do store trusses vertically, proper bracing should
be setup on both sides of the trusses.

I approve of the quote?
Inform us of your acceptance of our quote by
mail, email, or fax, and we will prepare the truss calculations

you or the builder inspect all drawings and calculations to check
for any necessary modifications. At that time we will set up a projected
delivery date.

How do I make necessary
alterations once an order has been placed?
Once your order has been placed, we will request
that you or the builder inspect all drawings and calculations to
check for any necessary modifications. All modifications must be
made before manufacturing of the trusses. Once the trusses have
been manufactured, no modifications can be made. Most modifications
before manufacturing can be made without affecting the price quote.
