Our History
Rhett Brown and Theron Honeycutt founded Brown
& Honeycutt Truss Systems, Inc. in 1976. They built the company
from the ground up, and had a reputation of providing quality truss
systems for many years.
In 1988, Rhett and Theron sold the business to
Robert Scribner. His name might be familiar to some that follow
football. He played professional football with the Los Angeles Rams
from 1973-1977. Rob's hard work and commitment to excellence followed
him to Brown & Honeycutt, where he continued the tradition of
providing a quality product, competitive pricing, and great service.
In 1993, Mike Hough was promoted to President
of Brown & Honeycutt Truss Systems, Inc. Mike started working
here in 1988 doing yard clean up and driving a forklift. He began
to work in the production department and oversee fabrication and
delivery. Since he excelled in this, he was promoted to oversee
the entire operation and has been doing so since.

she does everything, and she has been a real blessing to our
company. |

Mike began working at Brown & Honeycutt in 1993. He is
our systems coordinator in our design and engineering department.
Mike is an expert at designing roof and floor truss systems. |
| Pedro Sanchez ----- |
Pedro began working at Brown & Honeycutt in 1985. He is
our Superintendent of Operations. Pedro is a hardworking and
faithful man. |
